The last time I wore these pretty clothes, I had an encounter that brought me to get rid of them.
Sad, I wanted to destroy them because of the memories they brought to mind and thus transform them into a positive thought.
I created a ceremony to destroy the clothes with fire and to obtain a ceramic receptacle from my story.
- I covered them with clay, taking my time.
- I slowly abandoned in them all my sorrow.
- I tried to make my fingerprints visible on the clay, underlining certain light lines, sometimes even violently incising the clay.
- Then, I covered the clothes with drawings to exorcise the bad memories.
The clothes completely disappeared during the firing, leaving behind as sole memory a ceramic receptacle.
